Disclosure: I’m an affiliate for MAP, so I may earn a commission if you upgrade your membership through my link. That doesn’t change what I say below, and you never have to buy anything to read this or join the free level.
If you search for “make money online” programs, you’ll find plenty that promise a lot and deliver very little. So when I started looking at Master Affiliate Profits (MAP), I wanted to know one thing: is it what it says it is?
Here’s my plain-English review, including what I like, what to watch out for, and who it isn’t for.
What is MAP?
MAP (Master Affiliate Profits) is an affiliate marketing training program and member platform. [According to its creators, John Thornhill and Omar Martin. It teaches you how to earn commissions by promoting products and services, and it gives you tools and a dashboard that tracks the people you refer.
“Affiliate marketing” simply means you earn a commission when someone buys something through your special link.
What you get on the free level
You can join MAP for free. The free level includes the affiliate tools and training, and the live discovery training. When you log in, you’ll find:
- Orientation training, which MAP asks every new member to do first
- Traffic JumpStart, a short course of four videos on getting visitors to your link
- Promo tools for attracting subscribers
- A dashboard that shows your clicks, visits, leads and commissions
- Your personal MAP link
So you can try it, look around and judge it before spending anything.
What the paid levels add (and what they cost)
| Level | Monthly | Annual | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Affiliate tools and training, live discovery training |
| Silver | $37 | $297 | Beginner income lessons, Discovery Vault, Rapid Digital Assets |
| Gold | $67 | $597 | Income growth lessons, Commission Experts |
| Platinum | $97 | $797 | Super income classes, Live Backstage Pass, All Access Pass, Done For You Traffic |
Prices are in US dollars and are what MAP showed on its pricing page when I wrote this. Check the current prices before you decide.
How the commissions work
MAP pays you when the people you refer take part. The rate depends on your level. For example, the commission on its levels is 25% on Free, 40% on Silver, 50% on Gold and 75% on Platinum, and Platinum also has a 2-tier commission of 25%. MAP says its system tracks every referral you send and pays you on what they invest in, for life.
Higher levels pay higher rates, but they also cost more, and a higher rate only helps if you actually make sales.
What I like
- You can start free. There’s no card needed to look around and use the basic tools.
- It’s structured. The orientation and Traffic JumpStart give you a clear first step, so you aren’t piecing things together from random videos.
- The dashboard is clear. You can see your clicks, visits, leads and commissions in one place.
- It teaches the right foundation. Building an email list is at the heart of the training.
What to watch out for
- It isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme, and no honest program is. Most people who earn online take months, not days, and some never do.
- The upgrades cost real money. Be sure you can afford them, and use the free level first.
- Traffic is the hard part. Having a link isn’t the same as having visitors. You still need to learn how to get the right people to it.
- Be careful with the numbers. The “Hall of Fame” shows the all-time top members, not typical results. Don’t use it to guess what you’ll earn.
Who MAP is for (and who it isn’t)
MAP is probably a good fit if you:
- are willing to learn and follow a process
- can put in regular time each week
- want to build a long-term affiliate business, not chase quick money
MAP is probably not for you if you:
- expect results with no effort
- want guaranteed income
- aren’t willing to spend any money on upgrades or traffic
So, is MAP legit?
From what I can see, MAP is a real program with a working free level, a dashboard that tracks your referrals, and training you can use today. That’s the part I can check for myself.
What I can’t do is promise you’ll earn money, and neither can anyone else. Your results depend on your effort, your skills and the time you put in.
My advice: start on the free level, do the orientation and the Traffic JumpStart, and only think about upgrading once you’ve used what you get for free and know why you want more.
